UCSD DOC-4-A-DAY is geared towards exposing disadvantaged middle school and high school students to the possibility of pursuing a career in science or medicine. The students work in small groups with a UCSD medical student to learn about physical exams, neurological exams, anatomy and various other health related topics. Medical students also hold a panel to discuss issues they encountered upon choosing a career in medicine.
This year's Doc-4-a-Day will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 8:30am - 3:30pm. Juniors and Seniors meeting A-G requirements, with at least a 3.0 GPA are encouraged to apply. Applications are due Wednesday, November 16th to Mr. Campillo in Room 316. Click
