The National Honor Society (NHS) is a prestigious national organization that seeks to recognize and develop dedicated, honest, and hard-working high school students. Our NHS chapter here at Monte Vista strives to establish a community of outreach, integrity and academic focus. We seek out service opportunities in order to strengthen our leadership skills, bolster our social skills and, most importantly, assist communities that are in need.
We are accepting applications for the new school year now! The deadline to apply is Wednesday, October 7. The criteria for membership includes: minimum of 3.5 cumulative weighted GPA, character of integrity, and at least 20 hours annually of community service.
