Monte Vista visits Suzie's Farm

Thanks to Monte Vista's Pride/ASSETS Program, a group of 40 students were able to attend an after school field trip to Suzie's Farms. As we learned about the history of the farm, their methods of planting and irrigation, how to deal with "pests" in an organic manner, etc students were also taught how to pick the plants without destroying them and were able to bring home a large cache of veggies that they themselves harvested!

Monarch Theatre Presents The Servant of Two Masters

Goldoni's eighteenth-century masterpiece is an enduring story of love, passion, and mistaken identity. The play is based on the Italian Renaissance theater style, Commedia dell arte, and reinvigorated the genre, which is so heavily based on carnival, while bringing to it an element of realism, mishaps, mix-ups, confusions, disguises and mistaken identity that come with the style. The show runs November 9 - 12th in The Little Theatre. Tickets are $7 in advance, $9 at the door and $3 for children under 9. ASB/GUHSD Theatre Student Discount is also honored.
